Love quote

I just found this love quote on We Heart It.
"We should love, not fall in love. Because everything that falls, gets broken"
I never heard this before, but it's true.
Why we say that one person FALL in love?
Why isnt's it something like get in love?
I personally think that it is because, when we fall from somewhere, we just fall and you can't do anything to stop it.
Because of this it's like falling in love with someone, when we fall in love with someone, we can't do anything to stop it, it just happen.
