Haribo

Haribo is a german confectionary company, founded in 1920 by Johannes Riegel. Haribo made the first gummy candy in 1922 which was called Gummibärchen ( little gummy bears). 

The company is now one of the biggest manufacturers of gummy and jelly sweets in the world. They mainly produce gummy bears, but also jelly sweets and liquorice. Haribo has five factories in Germany and 13 throughthout the rest of Europe and you can buy them in nearly every continent and country of the world. 

Until now, they are available in six colours:

- White (pineapple)

- Yellow (lemon)

- Orange (orange)

- Red (strawberry)

- Purple (raspberry)

- Green (apple)

But in June 2014 we can buy the new edition of the Gummy Bears, with six new varieties: 

- Pink (grapefruit)

- Green (woodruff)

- Dark red (cherry)

- Yellow (apricot)

- Green (watermelon)

- Blue (blueberries)
